Founder & Creatrix, Heart of Seasons

To hold space for rites of passage and milestones through meaningful ceremony is a responsibility I hold with my heart and soul.

Meet REV. Tracy Julie Anne
(You can call me Tracy)
She/her

I am an ordained Metaphysical Minister, Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant™, a licensed Wedding Officiant, and an initiated Wildwood Priestess™.

I acknowledge with reverence that I live, work and play on the ancestral, traditional and unsurrendered territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən Peoples (Esquimalt and Songhees) and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples (Tsartlip, Tsawout, Pauquachin, and Tseycum).

A mixed heritage woman (white settler of Eastern European descent & Indigenous) with Ukrainian ancestry from my mother and Slovak, Prussian (Baltic) and Nuxalk ancestry from my father, I was socialized as white and grew up with and still continue to benefit from white privilege. I was born and raised in a small town on the traditional lands of the Nlaka’pamux Nation.

I spent a lot of my childhood outside in forests and on lakes. As I reflect in my adult years, I sense the influence nature truly had on me. I see the seasons reflected in all beings and the natural cycle of rebirth, life, and death in all that surrounds us and all that is within us.

I am professionally trained in the art of ceremony and ritual with the coveted designation of Life-Cycle Celebrant and ordained by the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry, licensed to solemnize marriage in what is colonially known as British Columbia, Canada. As an initiated Wildwood Priestess, I have a passion for facilitating feminine wisdom ceremonies and seasonal celebrations. I also feel that the transition into parenthood is incredibly fascinating and am a registered birth doula and love to hold space for the parental transformation. (Learn more about these designations).

Nature inspires me. People inspire me. Stories inspire me. To weave together a ceremony that brings your story to life is an honour. I have deep respect for YOU. I acknowledge and respect your beliefs, culture, values, and everything else that makes you who you are. All are welcome here (except bigots - although I will try and educate you).

When not writing and creating, you can find me walking and hiking local hills, spinning my legs on my bike, indulging in yummy food, dancing like nobody’s watching, volunteering at Victoria Hospice, or sitting on my duff getting lost in motion picture with my hubby. Additionally, I am now a nursing student (Class of 2027) - thus a lot of my time is spent studying. :)

It is my honour to create meaningful, authentic, loving, and one-of-a-kind ceremonies just for you, so that those big moments in your life are remembered with a smile. I look forward to connecting with you!
